So, Dr. Johnson has seen your pet and determined medication is recommended. We can give you the necessary medication right here in the hospital. Having a pharmacy in our clinic helps you in several ways:

We save you a trip to pick up medication from a human pharmacy.
Some medication is designed only for dogs and cats.
Many medications come in multiple forms such as pills, liquid, creams, ...etc., and we can change forms to find the best one for your pet while you are here with us.
We can demonstrate techniques to administer medication and determine what method will work best for you and your pet.

We will give you your dog's heartworm preventative when we perform a heartworm test. We can give your dog flea & tick medication or flea medication for your cat. We administer worm medication if we find anything in a fecal exam.
